Drake Co. who has the contract <br />for work on the 7th Avenue-Willamette River Section of I-105. <br />The attached detailed cost estimate stipulates quantitites and <br />unit prices for work necessary to upgrade Washington and Jefferson <br />Streets from ist Avenue to 6th Avenue by overlaying the entire <br />street with 2 inches of asphaltic concrete, constructing new <br />curbs on the west side of Washington and east side of Jefferson <br />and removing and replacing sections of the existing concrete <br />slabs that are broken and unstable. <br />The total cost of the work has been estimated to be <br />$53,485•31 with the State share being $34,377.40 and the City <br />share being $19,,107.91. The Donald M. Drake Co. is prepared to <br />begin work upon deposit of the City's share of the estimated cost. <br />If this proposal is acceptable to the City Council, please <br />forward your check or warrant in the amount of $19,107•91 to <br />Mr. H. S.
