'Historical Levels and Trends of Air Traffic - Data needed_ to <br />develop the critical forecasts of aviation demand will be <br />collected: <br />- Passenger activity statistics, including enplanements, <br />scheduled versus nonscheduled , activity, and pealdng <br />characteristics <br />-. Aircraft activity, including air carrier, cargo, general <br />aviation and military operarions, fleet mix, and peaking <br />characteristics <br />- Runway utilization rates <br />- General aviation based aircraft <br />- Instrument approaches <br />Thes'e data will be obtained primarily from FAA publications, ' <br />the Air Traffic Control Tower, and Airport management <br />records. This portion of the inventory wiil include' a review of <br />the Air~ort's existing airspace rec~uirements as well as <br />. i.nformation on the Airport's existing air traffic control <br />procedures. <br />- . Socioeconomic Data - Data concerning population, income <br />levels, and other factors related to aviation activity will be <br />~ identified and collected: <br />- Population levels and distributions, historical and forecast <br />- Income levels, historical and forecast <br />- Employment levels and distributions, historical and <br />, forecast ~ <br />These data will provide the basis for preparing the projections <br />of aviation demarid. <br />-5- <br />
