Element ;7: Environmental Review <br />Descriptioa Results of this element will form the preliminary basis for work that <br />will be required in the subsequent Environmental Assessment. This <br />element,: which will ~rovide a general review and will not be highly <br />quantitative or detailed in nature, will determine only whether any <br />of the impact areas identified in FAA Order 5050.4A need detailed <br />review in the subsequent Environmental Assessment for runway <br />extension. <br />Methodology: In accordance with the guidelines established in FAA Order 5050.4A, <br />20 areas of impact will be reviewed: <br />. Noise <br />. Compatible land use <br />. Social impacfs <br />. Induced socioeconomic impacts <br />. Air quality <br />. Water uality <br />. DOT 4~~ lands <br />~ . Construction impacts <br />Noise eontours will. be developed using Version 3.9 of the Integrated <br />Noise Model (INM), based on the day-rught noise level methodology. <br />These contours will reflect existing and future case conditions. <br />' Noise contours will reflect impacted areas through 55 Ldn in <br />accordance'with Oregon criteria. <br />Output: The third Master Plan working paper will also document the <br />environmental review for Mahlon Sweet Field. The worl:ing paper <br />will include noise contours to reflect current and future noise <br />conditions., , <br />Coorciination: Maximum use will be made of existing environmental reports. <br />Working papers will be forwarded to the Master Plan Advisory <br />Committee for review and comment.
