Relocation of residences or businesses <br />~: ~f ' ~. Alteration of surface transpor'tation patterns <br />. Disruption of any established commuruty or planned <br />deveiopment ` <br />: Creation of an appreciable change in employment. <br />AvPlan will evaluate the potenfial soeial impacts associated <br />with the acqui5ition _of clear , zones, .extended runway safety <br />,areas as dictated by FAA Change,8,,and any relocations. <br />(4) , Induced Socioeconomic Impacts <br />FAA Order 5050.4A rec~uires possible induced socioeconomic <br />. impacts,` such as shifts in population movement and growth, <br />increases in• public service demands, and changes in business <br />and economic activity, be evaluated. Potential positive and <br />- negative socioeconomrc impacts . associated v~nth project <br />alternatives will be: analyzed. <br />(5) . Air Qualit,y. <br />AvPlan will solicit input on :the proposed project from regional <br />and ~ State officials responsible for air quality standards. If <br />negative impacts are considered" a potential problem, AvPlan <br />~ will quantify the magnitude of the increase: in air pollutants. <br />(6) Water Quality ~ . <br />To, determine water; ' quality impacts associated with each <br />~ alternatiye, AvPlan will solicit input from regional and State <br />officials responsible for water quality. .:If there is potential for <br />negative impacts, str,ategies to mitigate impacts will be. <br />formulated in a subsequent EIS. <br />- , (7).`Department of TransQortation Section 4(f~ ~ <br />AvPlan will contact local and state agencies to determine if <br />- any of the pro~ect alternatives would result in , direct (in the <br />form of acquisition) or indirect (in the form of noise or air <br />pollution) im~acts fo any publicly owned land from a public <br />park; recreation area; or wildlife and waterfowl refuge of <br />national, state, or local significance; or any land from an <br />~ historic site, of national, .state, or local significance.
