, <br />Element 11: Airport Access Plan <br />Description: Providin~ adequate on- and off-airport access and auto parking for <br />each :Airport functional . area is an important consideration in <br />developing a Master Plan which meets user needs. <br />Methodology: The existing access plans, as available, will, be reviewed and updated <br />to reflect changes. Additional surface access needs, as related to <br />forecast demand levels and recommended terminal and landside <br />facilities, will also be identified. If road relocation is required to <br />accommodate: the greferred development plan, rerouting <br />recommendations will be incorporated as part, of the Land Use Plan. <br />The . access plan will provide proposed routing for the Airport and <br />will update the roadway system plan that incorporates appropriate <br />design features for~the following: ~ <br />. Existing approach roads to the Airport ternunal <br />. CrasH, fire, and rescue (CFR) access <br />, Airport access and service road system <br />. Auto parking <br />. Access signage system <br />Output: Output from the access plans will incorporate needed circulation <br />improvements. Major highway access improvements planned in the <br />vicinity of the Airport will be identified and incorporated as <br />appropriate. Access plans for the Air~ort will identify facilities <br />~ required to accommodate projected vehicular traffic flows through <br />the 20-year planning period. <br />Coordination: Continued coordination will be maintained with the Airport staff, <br />~ City of Eugene, and the FAA.
