The cost assumes a samp:le size of 400 (Standard Error = 5.0). The cost figure assumes that the contractor will be responsible for (1) developing the actual focus - o groups moderator outline(s), ('2) cooperating with City staff and other consultants hired by the City in developing the moderator outline(s), (3) conducting the actuaT focus group discussions, (4) providing an audio tape of the sessions, and (5) producing`a report of the focus group results including'a verbatim transcript and major findings. The cost figure assumes~that the City will° be responsible for recruiting participants and providing focus group rooms and refreshments. Cost for two focus groups $3,500 The City agrees to perform the following tasks: 1.7 The City shall:provide the Contractor with all the reasonable, necessary and available data and information necessary to perform requested services'. 1.8 The City Planning.Development Department shall cooperate with the Contractor to the extent reasonably required by the circumstances where a joint effort is indicated. 1.9 The City will arrange with the Lane County Elections Division to provide a list of frequent voters in the precincts comprising the River Road area. 1.10 The City will make a17 arrangements for focus graups other than preparation of the moderator's outline(s), moderati`ng the groups and report- ing. The City will arrange for facilities, incentives, recruit participants, and perform other related tasks. 2. Time for Completion.
