(Contractor) <br />RECITALS <br />A. Contractor is engaged in the 6usiness of conducting public opinion <br />research. <br />B. City desire~-to engage Contractor to provide the services described in <br />this agreement and Contractor is willing to provide such services on the . <br />terms and conditions set forth herein. "~ <br />C. The following are attached and incorporated as a part of this contract: <br />Exhibit A City of Eugene Standard Contract Provisions <br />AGREEMENT <br />1. Services to be Provided. <br />Contractor agrees to provide to City the following services ("the <br />Work"): <br />1.1 The contractor must develop a research strategy to meet the goals <br />and gather the information specified below: <br />-Determine what urban services River Road residents want most. <br />-Determine measures that would build trust between River Road residents <br />and the City. <br />-Determine the likelihood of River Road voters approving an annexation <br />of the area, and whether small, incremental annexations or large annex- <br />ations would be more likely to succeed. <br />-Provide a base of information for the development of strategies for <br />communicating with River Road voters about annexation and urban <br />services. <br />-Determine what information sources are most used by River Road voters <br />and which are most influential. <br />1.2 The contractor's work must meet the following specifications: <br />Personal Services Contract - 1 <br />
