The McKenzie
Watershed Council appreciates the contribution of $10,000 that the City of Eugene has provided
during the past year. The funds have been and will be used to support the ongoing operations of
the Council as it begins implementation of its action plans.
During our conversation, I failed to ask you if the City of Eugene has included funding for the
McKenzie Watershed Council in its 1997-98 Fiscal Year budget. We hope that the City of
Eugene will continue to support the Council and its activities. With the approval of the
Governor's Salmon Plan, local watershed councils are playing an integral role in the conservation
and restoration of our state's natural resources.
If you have any questions, please contact either me or John Runyon, Council Coordinator. Thank
you for your continued interest in the McKenzie Watershed Council.
Sincerely,
~~
Renee Davis-Born
Assistant Council Coordinator
c : \currentUnck\letters\wgagree.wpd
PO Box 1025, Corvallis, Oregon 97333 ~: 541. 758.0947 ~: 541 . 766.8336 0: runyon@proaxis.com
