The attached work program is for ten:months based on half the arulual budget <br />approved by the council and provides for continued staffing of ongoing operations of the council. <br />I. SCOPE OF WORK <br />The work plan period shall be between September 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998. Mr. Runyon <br />shall provide a rar.ge c,f ~oordi~~ation,.adr:iinistrati~n, fis~al manag~ment, and public outreach <br />services in support of McKenzie Waterslied Council Activities over this period. <br />II. WORK PROGRAM TASKS AND PRODUCTS <br />1. ONGOING COUNCIL ADMINXSTRATIOIV (30%) <br />The ongoing administration category provides for the day-to-day support of the watershed <br />council. It includes both regular activities of the council, such as regular council and <br />subcommittee meetings, as well as other ad, hoc activities that may come up throughout the <br />course of the work program. <br />2. FISCAL MANAGElYfEN7' (~0%} , <br />Fiscal management for McKenzie Watershed Councii activities involves tracking multiple <br />funding sources, budgeting, and reporting program progress to funding organizations. Other <br />tasks include providing assistance to Council partners in making grant applications to potential <br />funding organizations. <br />3. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION (30%) <br />This item includes project management of this contract as well as tasks associated with fulfilling <br />the role of overall coordinator of the McKenzie Watershed Council program. This work irivolves <br />providing oversight to coordinate the entire Council work program, developing woric plans for <br />the action plans, and providing a.unifying direction for the_whole program to assure consistency <br />in approach and adherence with tlie adopted work ~rogran~s for the implementation of the action <br />plans. ~ <br />4. PUBLIC OUTREACHAND COMMUNICATION (20%) <br />This item includes general communication of the MeKenzie Watershed Council program and <br />activities to the public, state and federal agencies and other interested parties. <br />
