~, . .. <br />l:eju'r~'-~~. 9~'-3 Z 8' <br />AMENDNfEN`T <br />COUNTY/CITY ROAD PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT by and between the CITY OF EUGENE, a municipal corporation <br />existing under the laws of the State of Oregon (hereinafter referred to as "CITY") and <br />LANE COLJNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Oregon (hereinafter referred to as <br />"COUNTY"), <br />WITNESSETH: <br />CITY and COUNTY are parties to an agreement effective as of December 18, 1996 <br />known as the "County/City Road Partnership Program Agreement" (hereinafter "the <br />Agreement"). <br />2. The parties have agreed to amend the Agreement to provide for certain disbursements <br />to be made from COUNTI' to CIT'Y during calendar years 1998 and 1999. <br />NUW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED, BY AND BETWEEN CITY AND COUNTY <br />TO FURTHER AMEND THE AGREEMENT AS FOLLOWS: <br />The section headed "CITY AGREE~" is amended to include: <br />As soon as practicable after receiving the funds described in paragraph 2, below, but <br />not later than June 30, 1999, CITY will pay $45,000 of CITI''s general fund to the <br />Eugene Water and Electric Board (EWEB) to be used for removal of waste tires from <br />EWEB's property known as the Jordan Pit. <br />2. The section headed "COUNTY AGREES" is amended to include: <br />As soon as practicable after execution of this agreement, COUNTY will pay CITI' . <br />$45,000 to be used pursuant to the terms of the Agreement. This $45,000 is in <br />addition to the amounts established by the Agreement and prior amendments. <br />3.
