8. Operations and Maintenance: maintenance of manmade water facilities and natural . <br /> streams, vegetation management, litter control, and operation and, maintenance of <br /> structures. The related issues of hazardous materials response, and policing and <br /> enforcement may be addressed under a separate Memorandum of Understanding:) <br /> All: <br /> • parties will coordinate on access issues, prescribed burns, control of nuisance <br /> <br /> - vegetation, litter removal, and efficient use of resources to accomplish required and/or <br /> necessary work <br /> ~I.N1: <br /> • will lead prescribed burning efforts on all project lands <br /> • will maintain its buildings and structures at the Danebo project site <br /> • will participate in developing maintenance guidelines, invasive: species control practices <br /> and schedules, public access policies, and coordinate maintenance policy and practices <br /> related to channels, waterways, and water features <br /> • will continue to clean, repair, and operate drainage channels, weirs, .and other <br /> constructed drainage and flood control facilities <br /> • will remove obstructions in and repair or control erosion damage along creeks and <br /> waterways under City jurisdiction <br /> e • will continue to mow along Amazon Creek as required by the Army Corps of <br /> Engineers agreement, and along banks of other flood control channels to provide <br /> access. Will continue and expand efforts to control invasive species.on City-owned • <br /> wetlands and coordinate with other parties on compliance with noxious vegetation code <br /> requirements on project lands within City limits <br /> • will lead on water quality and flood control programs . <br /> • will lead .in developing and maintaining structures, e.g., paths, trails, bridges on <br /> wetlands within the urban growth boundary, or tharabut~bike paths or flood control <br /> works <br /> Tom: <br /> • will take lead role on project lands at Willow Creek for stream trionitoring and <br /> maintenance, vegetation management, operation and maintenance of paths and signs, <br /> litter control <br /> • can provide staff expertise in vegetation management for other sites.,. or bring in <br /> information from outside resources, e.g., species biology, control strategies = _ <br /> 9.
