00225.80 Measurement <br />00225.80 General <br />Method "B" -Lump Sum Basis - No measurement of quantities will be made. <br />Measurement and payment for furnishing, installing and removing temporary <br />signs, flaggers and temporary construction orange plastic mesh fence shall be <br />included as incidental in the payment for the item "TEMP WORK ZONE TRAFFIC <br />CONTROL". <br />Local access must be maintained during all work. If the Contractor proposes to <br />block driveway access, notices shall be given to the property owner one day prior <br />to blocking the driveway. Driveway access shall be available to all property <br />owners and tenants each day, at the end of each shift. <br />The Contractor shall place HMAC or cold mix over unpaved areas used to route <br />public traffic during construction to provide a smooth firm driving surface. All <br />costs of providing a smooth firm driving surface shall be incidental to the <br />temporary protection direction item. <br />00225.90 Payment <br />00225.90A Method "B" -Lump Sum Basis -Payment for the item "Temporary Work Zone <br />Traffic Control, Complete" will be made at the contract lump sum amount and <br />will be for furnishing, installing, moving operating, maintaining, inspecting, and <br />removing materials and TCD, and for furnishing all equipment, labor, and <br />incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified. <br />00320.00 Scope <br />(ADD) The Contractor shall protect existing landscape shrubs and trees adjacent to <br />improvements.
