Mast businesses and agencies have a relaxed dress code on Fridays -and what a great way <br /> <br /> to end the week It's fun, it saves money, it's healthy, and it contributes to a more livable community. <br /> And there are s me great prizes to give away. Here's how it works: <br /> • Sign p 8t the kick-off celebration at Alton Baker Park, Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 <br /> p.m. There will be door prizes, free bike safety checks, family entertainment, music, and hands-on <br /> demonstrations. Individuals can also sign up by calling 682-5218 or on the Internet at <br /> www.ci.eugene. r.ws/pw/bike. <br /> • Walk or bike to work on the last three Fridays in June, or on another day of the week if that's <br /> more convenien . <br /> That's i ! All participants will be entered into a drawing to be held on each of the three "People <br /> <br /> Powered Friday " in June. The first drawing is June 16 at the Public Plaza at EWEB, the second drawing <br /> is June 23 on th bike path at 24`h and Amazon Parkway, and the third drawing is June 30 at LTD's <br /> Eugene Station 10"' & Olive). Entrants need not be present to win. Each drawing will be worth at least <br /> $150.
