July 14, 2000 <br /> CONTACT: Dill Wilde, Project Inspector, 682-8494 <br /> From Public Information Section, 682-5523 <br /> FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE <br /> TRAFFIC ADVISORY <br /> LAN RESTRICTIONS MONDAY, JULY 17, ON WEST 11T" AVENUE <br /> Work r~lated to the installation of a new traffic signal at West 11 `h Avenue and Tyinn <br /> (just east of Seneca) will limit traffic to one lane in each direction on West 11 `h most of the day <br /> on Monday, July 17. <br /> The out8ide lanes in each direction will be closed around 7 a.m. Monday and should be <br /> reopened by 4 p.m. Portions of the sidewalks on both sides of West 11`h will also be closed at <br /> times while crews install conduit for the new signal. <br /> Eugene Public Works is installing three new signals this summer. The other locations are <br /> at CToodpasture',Island Loop at Kingsley/Darlene and Gilham Road at Crescent Avenue. <br /> Motorists in all'~three locations may encounter construction-related lane detours and brief delays <br /> i <br /> at times.
