As
many residents begin seasonal chores of leaf raking and yard cleanup, the Eugene Public Works
Department requests that residents keep leaves out of the street until the weekend before collection in
your neighborhood begins. Even properly piled leaves can cause local flooding and pollute waterways if
placed in the street prematurely.
This year's leaf collection program in Eugene begins October 30 and continues until early
January. Here's this year's schedule:
• Oct 30 -Nov 3 -Central Eugene
• Nov 6 -Nov 10 - Southest Eugene
• Nov 13 -Nov 17 -Southwest Eugene
• Nov 20 -Nov 22 -West Eugene
• Nov 27 -Dec 1 -North Eugene
• Dec 4 -Dec 8 -Central Eugene
• Dec 11 -Dec 15 -Southeast Eugene
• Dec 18 -Dec 22 -Southwest Eugene
• Dec 26 -Dec 29 - ~~'est Eugene
• Jan 2 -Jan 5 -North Eugene
For tips on how to recycle leaves and for more detailed information about the leaf collection

schedule, call the City of Eugene leaf hotline at 682-5383 or visit the City of Eugene's home page on the
Internet at ~~zvw.ci.eugene.or.us.
Public Works • Administration • City of Eugene • 858 Pearl Street • Eugene, OR 97401
Phone: (541) 682-5262 • FAX: (541) 682-6826 • www.ci.eugene.or.us
