The lead story in this issue is about watersheds and their link to people and activities. <br /> Readers will also find a map of special flood hazard areas and "how to" tips in the event of <br /> flooding as winter settles in, plus a Q&A column featuring "Mr. Stormwater," news about the <br /> west Eugene wetlands, and a section designed for young readers. <br /> Stormwater Connections is asemi-annual newsletter produced by the Stormwater <br /> Management Program since 1994 to increase awareness of Stormwater and natural resource <br /> issues. Copies of the newsletter are available at 858 Pearl Street, area community centers and the <br /> public library.
