The creek project is multi-objective, focusing on limiting periodic <br /> flooding in the ark. The plan includes realigning the stream channel, creating a redefined flood <br /> plain, incorpor ting stream stabilization features, and planting native vegetation. The <br /> revitalization o creek landscape will provide flood capacity, riparian habitat enhancement, water <br /> <br /> I <br /> quality benefit and longer seasonal use of the open play field in the park. <br /> <br /> I <br /> Constr ction is expected to occur during the dry season, beginning in late summer and <br /> concluding in I to fall. Funding for the $160,000 project will come from stormwater user fees <br /> <br /> ;I and storm wat r SDC funds.
