A portion of the park has already been constructed, <br /> including par ng lots and four youth-size baseball fields constructed in partnership with the <br /> Babe Ruth B seball Organization. <br /> Futur plans for the park include a skateboard park, play area, restrooms, basketball <br /> courts, picnic shelter, dog off-leash area, walkways, and natural areas. Due to the size of the <br /> park and the umber of proposed facilities, construction is expected to occur in phases over the <br /> next several ears. Improvements will be built primarily with funds from Eugene's voter- <br /> <br /> , approved par s and open space bond measure. Plans for 2002 include construction of the <br /> skatepark an restroom facilities. <br /> The f cus of the November 13 workshop is to provide information on current and future <br /> phases of pa k construction and to receive public input on proposed improvements.
