He often <br /> duplicates atural stone outcrops of the high mountains, a style known as the "Czech crevice <br /> garden." <br /> Hal a has also traveled all over the world collecting seeds to create hybrids and <br /> diversify an preserve plants such as primrose, gentian and daphne. His new book, "The <br /> ~ Genus Dap ne," is about his work with daphne.
