Interested individuals should meet at the F.M. Wilkins <br /> Shell ;r a'. 2: 00 Summit Avenuc; at 11 a.m. Tours will last about an hour. <br /> The ours will showcase the extensive work volunteers and anon-profit habitat <br /> resto ~at;ic n c rew have done this; winter clearing a significant area of the forest of English ivy so <br /> that t ~e viild dowers and native plants in the forest understory might thrive. <br /> "~'he •e is so much work being done under the guidance of the Hendricks Park Forest <br /> Manf ~g~sr~ei ~t Plan that we just want the community to be able to see some of the changes," <br /> said lohi~ oriarty, coordinator of the plan. <br /> Tau s will include identification of native plants and flowers, information on the habitat <br /> need s ~~f di `event plants, their ~.ase around the home, and a free brochure on native plant <br /> alten ia~ti~~e for landscaping. <br /> Th wildflower tours will take place every Sunday through May 5 at 11 a.m. Parking is <br /> limitE ~d a~: t ~ park; alternative i;ransportation is strongly encouraged.
