The <br /> department s administration, airport, engineering, maintenance, parks and open space, <br /> transportati nand wastewater divisions will offer demonstrations, activities and dozens of <br /> pieces of la ge equipment on display. A highlight of the open house includes an area showing <br /> how Public orks keeps Eugene safe during emergencies and how you can be prepared. <br /> As i the past, more than 1,000 schoolchildren are scheduled to attend the event. <br /> Community members are encouraged to visit the event during the afternoon to avoid the <br /> I <br /> i morning cr wds. Vehicle and bike parking is available at the maintenance yard, and LTD's #40 <br /> (Echo Holl w) bus has service to 1820 Roosevelt every 30 minutes.
