The improvements are <br /> <br /> i being mad in conjunction with the Bethel School District's construction of two new schools - <br /> Prairie Mo ntain School and Kalapuya High School -near the corner of Terry and Royal. The <br /> signal, side alks, and other improvements will also better and more safely accommodate the <br /> fast-growin residential area in west Eugene. <br /> <br /> i Fun ing for the $530,000 project includes $225,000 from Lane County along with <br /> assessme is to adjacent property owners and revenues collected through development fees. <br /> Be inning July 8 and continuing through construction, Royal will be closed to through <br /> traffic betty en Terry Street and Green Hill Road.
