T e work generally involves inserting liners into underground sewer lines to seal <br /> cracks or o her deficiencies that allow groundwater to enter the wastewater system. Although <br /> much of th work can done without digging up the lines, some excavation is required to <br /> reconnect i dividual properties once the liner is installed or to correct problems that can't be <br /> <br /> j repaired b a liner. <br /> Insi uform Technologies International of California is the general contractor for the <br /> <br /> I <br /> project, wh ch is scheduled to run through October. The project is funded with revenues <br /> collected fr m monthly wastewater user fees. <br /> <br /> i <br /> Re airs will begin on High Street between 18`h and 19`h avenues and then shift to the <br /> <br /> i <br /> area aroun 18`h Avenue and Jefferson Street. Lanes may be closed at times, and there may <br /> be brief co struction-related traffic delays.
