Work begins at 8 a.m. and includes grouting the bases of the er o[a, the tractors that su its climbin roses; weedin the area around the paver stone p g PPo g 9 pathway; an placing bricks that donors have purchased in memorial of loved ones in the pathway. This ffort is part of the ongoing campaign, spearheaded by the Delta Rotarians, to enhance th garden. The group adopted the rose garden as a community service project in 1999. In pa nership with the City, the group has accomplished several projects in the past couple of y ars including decorating the garden with trellises; creating rose bed borders; building a I rge pergola to adorn the walkway with climbing roses; and most recently raised the money top rchase a gazebo to be situated in the heart of the rose garden. "W are very committed to beautifying the rose garden for all the residents of Eugene to enjoy for y ars to come," says Paul Peschfera, member of the Eugene Delta Rotarians.
