To
nsure that the Ian reflects the community's diverse needs, the City wants to hear from Eugene
esidents of all ges, abilities, and interests-from bird-watchers to skateboarders, from West Eugene
o Svuth Hills re idents, from school children to retirees, and from rhododendron enthusiasts to
ndangered sp cies advocates.
"VVe wa t residents to play an active role in how parks and recreation services are provided in
he future," say Parks and Open Space Planning Manager Andrea Riner. "We need to listen to
esidents to rea ly know what the community wants and needs."
The cu nt plan, created in 1989, is now outdated.
