From January 6 at 7 a.m. to January 10 at 5 p.m., the portion <br /> of Skyline B ulevard near the intersection of Birch Lane will be closed so that the road can be <br /> widened to ccommodate a few more parking spaces and safer access to the memorial. <br /> The ity's Parks and Open Space Division acquired the memorial through a private <br /> donation ov r a year ago, One of the stipulations of the donation was to improve access to the <br /> memorial b creating parking. Eugene Sand and Gravel, under contract with the City of Eugene <br /> Public Wo s Department, will widen the road approximately 170 feet.
