On Friday. February <br /> 21, at 1 p.m ,volunteers will gather at the Native Plant Nursery, a nursery managed by Stream <br /> Team and d dicated to propagating and preserving native plant species, to weed and collect <br /> wttings for ropagation. On Saturday, February 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., young people from <br /> Living Hop Church`s youth group, The Flip Side, will help Stream Team restore habitat by <br /> i <br /> pulling ivy, n invasive plant species in the area, between the Mill Race and the Willamette <br /> River. Sim Itaneously, OSPIRG (Oregon Student Public Interest Research Group) students <br /> from the U iversity of Oregon and Lane Community College wilt be digging up blackberries, <br /> 'I another co mon invasive plant species, and possibly planting native plants near Autzen <br /> I <br /> Footbridge starting at 1 p.m. Community members are welcome to join any of these work <br /> parties. <br /> To Is, gloves and snacks will be provided. Interested volunteers should pre-register. The <br /> Stream Te m Program offers volunteers the opportunity to restore, care for and learn more <br /> about the ity's waterways and natural areas.
