Improvements to the park are made possible through the parks and open <br /> space bon measure voters approved in November 1998. <br /> W shop participants will have the opportunity to give feedback about the plan that was <br /> developed ased on neighborhood input from the initial public workshop last August. This plan <br /> shows imp ovements to an existing small play area, preservation of existing picnic facilities, <br /> improved edestrian access to the park from neighborhoods to the north, and accessibility <br /> improvem rite in and around the existing parking lot. A sign cant natural area in the northern <br /> portion of he park will be protected and maintained for wildlife and native plant habitat. <br /> F dback gathered from the meeting will be used to finalize the plan and help establish <br /> i <br /> priorities r the desired park improvements.
