Efficiency, Service, Value." A wide variety of <br /> demonstrati n, activities and equipment displays will feature the services provided by the <br /> department' administration, airport, engineering, maintenance, parks and open spaces, and <br /> wastewater ivisions. <br /> The vent will also highlight careers in public works. Public Works employees will be <br /> available to nswer questions about the necessary education, what Public Works employees do <br /> and what s rvices the department provides for the citizens of Eugene. <br /> Publ c Works Day isn't just for adults. More than 1,800 schoolchildren have signed up to <br /> attend the pen house. They will see Public Works equipment in action, take a tour of the yard <br /> in adump t uck-pulled trailer, and even go inside a gigantic salmon. Community members are <br /> encourage to visit during the afternoon to avoid the crowds.
