Stream Team <br /> <br /> ' adoption roups will host work parties at several locations along the creek as in previous <br /> ~ years. T is year the event will also include a work party at the creek's headwaters where <br /> ~ voluntee will salvage native plants from the future Amazon Headwaters Tie Trail, which <br /> links to th Ridgeline Trail. The plants will be tended at the Native Plant Nursery run by <br /> ~I Stream T am volunteers and returned to the site after construction. <br /> S earn Team will supply gloves, tools, mulch, and bags. At 12:30 p.m., all volunteers <br /> are invite to Amazon Park at 27th Avenue and Hilyard Street for lunch donated by Track <br /> ?'own Pi a_ Volunteers are welcome to participate in any of the following projects: <br /> 1. Clean up Amazon Creek with the Jefferson Westside Neighbors, Far West Neighbors, <br /> and L ne Council of Governments. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Patterson School site behind <br /> ~ the AI ertson's at 18"' and Chambers. <br /> 2. Mulc the native plantings and clean up the creek with the Miracle an 33"0 Street <br /> I'~ neigh ors. This project begins at 10 a.m. at 33'~ and East Amazon. <br /> 3.
