Sponsored by The Friends of Hendricks Park, the free, public lecture <br /> is part of an ducational series this spring and summer. <br /> I <br /> ~ Glea on participated in the development of the Hendricks Park Forest Management <br /> 'I Plan, a com rehensive plan that outlines strategies for preserving and enhancing the Hendricks <br /> l <br /> Park forest. He is also the author of Birds! From the Inside Out. The final lecture in the series <br /> will be abo forest ecolo yon September 15. All events are free and open to the public. <br /> 9 <br /> The purpose of the Friends of Hendricks Park is to raise awareness of Hendricks Park <br /> as a valua a community and regional resource, provide stewardship in the management of the <br /> j park by as fisting with the implementation of the Hendricks Park Forest Management Plan, <br /> ~ educate th public about issues that affect the park, and generate a broad base of community <br /> ~ support far the park.
