Sponsored by The Friends of Hend irks Park, <br /> the free, public lecture is the final installment in an educational series that took pla over the <br /> past spring and summer. I~'I <br /> ~I <br /> Dickman is a winner of the prestigious Ersted Award for Distinguished Teac ers and an <br /> advisor to the science committee of the Friends of Hendricks Park. The purpose of he Friends <br /> of Hendricks Park is to raise awareness of Hendricks Park as a valuable communi and <br /> regional resource, provide stewardship in the management of the park by assisting ith the <br /> implementation of the Hendricks Park Forest Management Plan, educate the public about <br /> issues that affect the park, and generate a broad base of community support for the park.
