Specific times for <br /> the commun y rides on both Thursday and Friday are: 9 to 11:15 a.m; 12:44 to 1:45 p.m; and <br /> 2:35 to 3:25 . m. <br /> Dev loped and administered by the Bicycle Transportation Alliance of Oregon, the <br /> education p gram teaches bicycle safety skills in physics! education classes in local schools. <br /> Students le rn the basics of bicycling in traffic and how to properly fit helmets and practice <br /> bicycling ar and the school. The program culminates with aone-hour community ride. The <br /> program is nded by members of the Eugene Bicycle Coalition and local businesses, including <br /> i <br /> Bike Friday, PeaceHealth, Burley Design Cooperative, REI, Co-Motion Cycles, and the Oregon <br /> Department of Transportation. The City of Eugene stores and transports the bicycles. Next <br /> week the pr ram moves to a class of fifth grade students at Adams Elementary School.
