Spec ~c times for <br /> the community rides on both Thursday and Friday are: 9 to 11:15 a.m; 12:44 to 1:4 p.m; and <br /> 2:35 to 3:25 p.m. <br /> Developed and administered by the Bicycle Transportation Alliance of Oreg ,the <br /> education program teaches bicycle safety skills in physical education classes in to schools. <br /> Students learn the basics of bicycling in traffic and how to properly fit helmets and p active <br /> bicycling around the school. The program culminates with acne-hour community rid .The <br /> program is funded by members of the Eugene Bicycle Coalition and local businesse ,including <br /> Bike Friday, PeaceHeatth, Burley Design Cooperative, REI, Co-Motion Cycles, and t e Oregon <br /> Department of Transportation. The City of Eugene stores and transports the bicycle <br /> The program is ongoing in fall and spring and has already been to Shasta, S ringfield, <br /> Monroe, and Cal Young middle schools. The fifth grade class at Adams Elementary drool will <br /> 4 <br /> begin the program next week.
