Tools, gloves, snacks, and <br /> work instruc 'ons will be provided. <br /> Und rtaken by Eugene's Public Works Engineering Division with input from area <br /> j neighbors, t e enhancement project lengthened the stream in an effort to reduce flooding and <br /> extend seas nal use of the open play field in the park. The enhanced creek also provides <br /> increased w ter quality and creates the opportunity to enhance habitat and provide on-site <br /> natural reso rce education. <br /> In ad ition to planting native plants, boulders and log material have been added, further <br /> j enhancing a d stabilizing habitat.
