In the <br /> event of he vy rain or to complete the project, another work party wilt be held Sunday, February <br /> <br /> u <br /> 29, from no n to 4 p.m. <br /> NA GS volunteers helped establish and plant the garden in the late 1990s with a major <br /> grant from ARGS, donations of materials and plants from the local NARGS chapter and <br /> i <br /> assistance 'th site preparation, irrigation installation and signage from City parks crews. The <br /> group ~org izes work parties to maintain the garden on a quarterly basis, with monthly weeding <br /> during the rowing season. Sebring Rock Garden was featured in Rock Garden Design and <br /> Constructi n, a NARGS publication published in 2003. <br /> On the agenda for this work party is cleaning up and weeding the garden, top-dressing <br /> the beds, nd replanting, including possibly planting heathers in the lowest bed.
