Registration begins Wednesday, March 17, from noon to 7 p.m., at the <br /> l ' <br /> Parks and pen Space Division office at 1820 Roosevelt Boulevard in Eugene. Approximately <br /> 60 plots ar available across the following garden sites: <br /> E <br /> ? Amazo at 27th and High (4 plots), <br /> ? Mathe at 15th and Hayes (22 plots), <br /> ? Whitea er at the end of North Polk (33 plots), and <br /> i <br /> ? River H use at 301 North Adams (4 plots). <br /> In addition, nother 50-60 plots wiN be ready to rent in May or June at the new community <br /> gardens at kinner Butte and Alton Baker parks. Anyone interested in a plot at the new sites <br /> can sign up on a waiting list. <br /> A whol or half plot can be rented. The average size of a plot is 20 by 30 feet. Rent is $52 <br /> per year fo a full plot and $42 per year for a half plot and includes access to water and a <br /> garden site anager. Eugene's Community Gardens Program has been offering residents the <br /> opportunity o cultivate a plot of land since 1978.
