The students organized the <br /> project in co junction with City of Eugene Volunteers in Parks as a community service project in <br /> ~ honor of Ea h Day, coming up next month. <br /> Mea an Morris, one of five National Honor Society officers from Willamette High School, <br /> says, "We ould like to contribute to a park in our area as a form of service to our community." <br /> s <br /> The tudents are scheduled to weed and clean the sand and playground area, remove <br /> dead junipe , pick up downed twigs and limbs, rake leaves, plant plants, and weather <br /> permitting, paint railing. <br /> The olunteers in Parks program works with groups and individuals to maintain and <br /> enhance ou parks by organizing a host of park improvement projects.
