The media and public, especially children, are invited to attend and loam <br /> more about the i2iverPiay project. Children can win prizes for answering correctly questions <br /> about then tural and cultural history of the area, a key aspect of this hands-on, state-of-the-art <br /> playground <br /> The playground at Skinner Butte Park features an archaeological dig revealing local flora <br /> a <br /> E <br /> and fauna ver #ime, a play replica of the Skinner Butte climbing columns, model pioneer and <br /> ~ Kalapuya v Ilages, and a miniature ~Ilamette River, originating at a "rain arcle." <br /> Th project is funded in part by the parks and open space bond measure and grants, <br /> but, in ord to realize the full scope of the vision, donations of cash, labor and materials are <br /> needed fro the community. The Eugene Rotary Ciub, in partnership with the City of Eugene, <br /> has pledg to help fund and build the playground at Skinner Butte Park. Construction begins <br /> this summ r. <br /> Riv relay also includes another regional playground at Alton Baker Park.
