The <br /> project wa nearly completed last summer. All that remained for volunteers this season was tv <br /> pour sand n the sandbox and wood chips under the play structure. <br /> " e wanted to cxeate a welcoming commons area with a play structure that is both <br /> environme tally friendly and aesthetically pleasing," says Davy Ray, the volunteer coordinator of <br /> the project and gardener at the site. "These improvements strengthen the sense of community <br /> and give a kids something to keep them occupied while giving their parents a stronger feeling <br /> of security when gardening."
