Mark Homey of the University of Oregon Center for Advanced Technology in <br /> Education; ilton and Mary Decker; the Institute for Applied Ecology; Doug Brooke; Ethen <br /> Perkins; an Esther Stutrman. A summary of their contributions is attached. <br /> ' The vent will be held in conjunction with the opening of the second annual American <br /> Wetlands M nth photography exhibition, sponsored by Willamette Resources 8~ Educational <br /> Network (W EN) and the West Eugene Wetlands Partnership. The show entitled, "The Secret <br /> Life of Wetl nds,° will hang at the 5th Street Public Market May 23 through June 26. More <br /> information n the photography exhibit is also attached. <br /> The est Eugene Wetlands Partnership is a collaboration between the City of Eugene, <br /> U.S. Burea of Land Management, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Oregon Youth Conservation <br /> Corps, The ature Conservancy, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, McKenzie River Trust, and <br /> Willamette esources & Educational Network. Since 1995, the partnership has acquired and <br /> restored we lands in west Eugene, creating open space recreational and educational <br /> opportunitie for the residents of Eugene and contributing to improved natural habitat and water <br /> quality. It h s one of the most successful track records of any similar program in the region and <br /> is consider a national model for innovative and collaborative wetlands management.
