The 2004 pavement preservation program includes repaving the <br /> following str ets: <br /> Cal Young Road (Coburg to Willagillespie) <br /> Gilham Road (Beltline to Cal Young) <br /> Bertelsen Road (railroad tracks to West 11th) <br /> Willamette Street (13th to 19th avenues) <br /> The ork on Cal Young and Gilham Road is scheduled to start June 14 and be finished by <br /> late August. Morse Brothers is the general contractor on the $965,000 overlay project. <br /> The epaving work on Bertelsen Road is scheduled to start in early July and be <br /> substantiall completed by late September. Wildish Construction is the low-bidding contractor on <br /> the job, whi h is projected to cost approximately $460,000. <br /> On illamette Street, work is scheduled to begin in mid-July and be substantially <br /> completed yearly September The work includes a pavement overlay and partial reconstruction of <br /> Willamette treet between 13th and 19th avenues. In addition, there will be striping modifications <br /> to convert illamette Street from cone-way street to two-way operation between 13tH and 18tH <br /> avenues. T e striping also will accommodate the addition of bicycle lanes between 13th and 17th <br /> avenues. T tal cost of the project is estimated to be $465,000. <br /> Last year's paving preservation program included repairs to Echo Hollow Road, 18tH <br /> Avenue we t of Bailey Hill, 29tH Avenue from Willamette to Washington streets, 30tH Avenue east of <br /> Hilyard, an Amazon Parkway from 29tH Avenue to Hilyard.
