The event includes a site tour of the playground's unique play areas in their
~ proposed locatio s. A play replica of Skinner Butte, an ancient history sand dig, miniature Willamette River,
` d Kalapuya an pioneer villages will bring Eugene's cultural and natural history alive for children of alt
es and abllitie at this hands-on, state-of-the-art playground.
The prof is funded in part by the 1998 parks and open space bond measure, but, in order to
r aline the fulls pe of the vision, donations of cash, labor and materials are needed from the community.
he Eugene Ro ry Club, in partnership with the City of Eugene, has pledged to help fund and build the
layground at S inner Butte Park.
