The volunteer group, comprised of members of First United Methodist Church, <br /> ill visit and lear about the history and ecology of Stewart Pond:;/Bertelsen Nature Complex, the site the <br /> oup has agre to monitor and tend on a long-term basis, and the: area's habitat management plan. <br /> Loma Ba dwin, coordinator of Stream Team, hopes that aver time the group will be collecting seeds <br /> nd taking cuttin s, growing them out in the program's native plant nursery, and using them to replant areas <br /> t at have been eared of invasive species. "It promises to be a great adoption and perhaps the first one to <br /> ctively use the ative plant nursery to do the full circle of restoration," says Baldwin. <br /> The ado tion group calls themselves the Creation Care CornmitteelRiparian Redeemers.
