Controlling the spread of invasive weeds in the forest is one of the main objectives of the endric~cs Park Forest Management Plan. By removing invasive plants, the native species h~l'we a better op rtunityi to reproduce and flourish in the forest. Over the past three years, volunteers, ntractors and rk staff' have cleared ivy from about 16 acres of the park's forest. Following up with r moval of sewn ary invaasive plants, such as Herb Robert and nipplewort, is essential for maintaining the rk that has b n accomplished.
