Volunteers can choose from a variety of projects including resurtacing <br /> tails, vegetation control; and general park clean-up, while the dogs soaalize in this popular off-leash dog <br /> tea! The park i located) off of Leo Harris Parkway, behind Autzen Stadium. Parking is available in lot eight. <br /> For the I st two ylears, a group of key volunteers, all patrons of the dog park, have worked with City <br /> arks staff to de ign and maintain the dog park. The group raises funds and organizes work parties. The <br /> roup has been nstrumental in making the dog park a reality, identifying maintenance needs in the park, <br /> nd realizing ma y of the more innovative features in the park, such as a dog washdown station, dog waste <br /> ag dispensers, nd pedestrian nodes, gathering places where trails or paths intersect and dogs and their <br /> wners can soci lize. <br /> For more informaaitiion, call 682-4845. <br /> <br />
