Their <br /> results will compared to those from businesses of similar size. Then on October 14, a <br /> celebration nd awards ceremony will be held on the Park blocks (Eighth Avenue and Oak <br /> Street) at 5: 5 p.m. to honor the winners in each category and to see who has the largest <br /> percentage f employees participating in the challenge. <br /> Emp oyee participants are eligible to win a variety of prizes including a Fuji Regis <br /> <br /> ~ Comfort co muter bicycle from WheelWorks and two complete sets of raingear from Burley <br /> Design. Gift certificates will also be given to Bepe & Giannis, Dutch Bros. Coffee, Cafe Lucky <br /> Noodle, Lo Dos Amigos, Ring of Fire, Papa John's Pizza and many more local establishments. <br /> Reg tration is free, and any Eugene area business or agency can participate. There <br /> are size cat gories for both businesses and for public agencies or non-profits: 1 to 24 <br /> employees, 25 to 99 employees, 100 to 299 employees, and 300 or more employees. The <br /> winners in ach category will receive a plaque with a special award for those businesses with <br /> 100% parti ipation. Businesses are also eligible to win a free six-month subscription to the <br /> Register G and and a continental breakfast delivered to them on the day of the challenge <br /> compliment of Garden Deli Catering. <br /> Enc uraging employees to find another way to get to work leaves more parking spaces <br /> for custom rs, promotes employee fitness (for those who bicycle and walk), relieves traffic <br /> congestion n the streets (making it easier for customers and employees to get to local <br /> businesses and assists Eugene businesses in becoming more sustainable. <br /> Co mute Challenge is sponsored by the City of Eugene, LTD, Commuter Solutions at <br /> LTD, and L ne Regional Air Pollution Authority.
