The first workshop on September 9 <br /> i cluded a revie of the~work of the Santa Clara Community Park Advisory Committee, principles of smart <br /> rowth and how hey could be applied to this project, and the opportunities for public involvement <br /> t roughout the p ocess,aas well as an extensive question and answer session. During the last workshop on <br /> eptember 23, articipalhts discussed four alternate designs for the proposed community park and <br /> eighborhood a d eval~fated how effectively each proposal addressed important issues and met the needs <br /> f the communi .The revised plan to be presented at Thursday's meeting incorporates the preferred <br /> mponents ide tified by workshop participants during the last meeting. <br /> A summ ry of this results of the first two workshops is available on the project's webpage at <br /> .c.eugene. r.us/paalrkks/planning/SCCP~roj.htm.
