Morning refreshments and lunch will be <br /> rovided. Ana ivity zone featuring RiverPlay exhibits will be available for the entertainment of younger <br /> ildren. The pl ygrourtd site is located acxoss from 210 Cheshire on the north side of Skinner Butte. <br /> Constru tion of 4he hands-on, state-of-the-art playground is scheduled to begin in spring 2005. The <br /> layground will nclude is variety of unique play elements such as a play replica of Skinner Butte, an ancient <br /> history sand di , miniat;Ore Willamette River, and Kalapuya and pioneer villages. <br /> The pro ect is fulnded in part by the 1998 parks and open space bond measure, but, in order to <br /> realize the full cope ofi the vision, donations of cash, labor and materials are needed from the community. <br /> The Eugene R tary Cirrrb, in partnership with the City, has pledged to help fund and build the playground. <br /> So far over $1 5,000 im grants and in-kind and cash donations has been raised.
