The community park is a popular destination for residents from all <br /> a and Eugene, nd because it's well-loved, it's in need of some attention, and these Industrious students, <br /> bers of SER ,the high school's community service dub, are glad to give back to the community by <br /> d voting a Sund afternoon of hard labor improving the park. From noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December <br /> 5 they will dean lay equipment in the park's playground, resurface worn areas in the playground with <br /> i pact-resistant nglneered woodchips, and dean and possibly paint surrounding picnic tables and <br /> nches. <br /> "This gro p of students contributes to all kinds of community projects regularly throughout the year," <br /> id Volunteers i Parks Coordinator Matt McRae.
